Services Provided: Landscape Restoration
Hamilton Zanze came to Consilium Design with a need to upgrade their recently purchased Chelsea Park Apartments in Aurora. The 50 acre complex needed a facelift achitecturally and landscape wise. An important task was to increase the curb appeal of the project by implementing street tree plantings and enhancing the landscape at each of the entries. Consilium Design worked with the Client and the City to achieve this goal. Working within the client’s budget, the Consilium team was able to come up with a 3 part phased landscape renovation plan to address all the client’s concerns and needs for this project and prioritize construction to spread out the cost of the project. The total cost of the landscape renovation came in around $400,000. Some of the tasks for this project included:
- Street Appeal Off Of Peoria St. -Phase I
- Entry Signage & Entry Drive Enhancements – Phase I
- Leasing Center Appeal & Enhancement – Phase II
- Internal Drive Island Enhancement – Phase III
In addition to this Consilium Design also worked with the client to update/build:
- Mulch & Foundation Plantings Around Apartments
- New Picnic & Shelter Area
- New Mail Kiosk Locations
- Plan Tree Mitigation Efforts w/ the City of Aurora
All of these items were accomplished to successfully enhance the apartment complex and bring a rejuvenated feel to the community.
